My Summer vacation of 2017
My Summer vacation of 2017
When I gave that last Geography paper and went home I felt excited and sad at the same time because I was leaving my school. I walked back with a water bottle (still full) , a question paper , a torn and old pencil case and some great memories. Immediately when I got back home I went on a Coke and chips marathon while watching You Tube.
The next three or four days we drove to Puttaparthi , the birthplace of Sai Baba. I enjoyed the morning walks , the food and the evening prayers. Also while we were on our way to Prashanti Nilayam (the block of prayer halls and canteens) Dev (my brother) messed up the Google Maps. Then we saw a special entrance which led us directly to Prashanti Nilayam and we were overjoyed to know that there was accommodation inside! God had helped us.
Anyway we returned home. Right after three or four days we were on the train to Thrissur! The first week there was great. My cousin had stayed for two days and we had a blast! Even my cousin Ved had come to visit. I never needed Wi-Fi or wanted to watch the latest episode of Doctor Who (my favourite show) . Unfortunately when my cousin left I was really bored and eventually upset and angry.
When we came back I was really happy and learnt to never take anything for granted. That same day we went for Bahubali 2 (the topic of my next blog) and to KFC and to Phoenix mall all in one day. After a few days me and my brother went to stay for a few days at my cousin's house. We had a blast with them posting selfies on Instagram , playing cricket , swimming , eating pizza and playing Minecraft.
Then they came to our house to stay for a few days. We had great fun. Then we went to Nandi Hills which was a phenomenal experience. We took a round of the whole place and saw the hills and fields at such a small view. The drive to Nandi Hills was great with plenty of natural scenery. Even though it was sunny we were cool because there were many trees. We also saw a great deal of monkeys. It was a great place. For my birthday I got a tablet and went to an Italian restaurant which had some great jalapeno sauce and pasta.
So that was how my summer went. I'm really looking forward to my new school.
